I’m starting this blog because I love to write! And I’d love to share my fiction with others… and it seems like the way to do that is this: to promote my fiction. Ha! I don’t have any love for this part, honestly. How do I look at you all and say, “Hey! Read my stuff!” And yet, I guess it must be done. 🙂 So here I am, doing it. But maybe I can also be somewhat interesting in the process.
In this blog, I’d love to cover different facets of my writing journey and process. I hope you enjoy a little of the picture of my life- A little starting information: I’m a 34-year old mother of 3 homeschooled elementary children. I live in a big old farmhouse with my husband and his grandparents. I didn’t grow up on a farm, but I’m learning to appreciate the rural life. I don’t have any letters after my name, but I believe in continuing education- reading, reading, READING! You can follow me on goodreads if you want.
One more thing: I am a Bible-believing. Jesus-following, Christian! The Gospel of Christ is the good news that He made a way for me to be reconciled with God. I’m on the journey of pursuing HIM- His glory through me and in me! I hope that this blog shows you how wonderful He is, and that it encourages you closer to Him.
This year, through this blog, I’d love to explore what it looks like to pursue Truth spreading through fiction- if I, as one person in the middle of farmland- can use the opportunities that modern technology gives me to use my gifts to bring His Truth to the world! And I’d love this blog to reflect that journey- and maybe to inspire you to do what you can, with what you have, where you are.
